Easywash is a treatment for wool. Easywash yarns may be washed in a machine at 30 degrees without shrinking or felting. The surface of the fibre is modified with the help of enzymes. With Easywash treatment, the use of environmentally harmful chemicals can be avoided, which makes this form of treatment particularly attractive. Our Alpaca Soxx yarns carry the label Easywash thanks to this enzyme treatment.
Even if the wool has been treated to make it machine washable, we recommend that you use the wool programme or delicate cycle, without fabric conditioner. Generally speaking, we advise you to follow the washing instructions on the yarn label. You will find the care icons explained here.
