Would you like a little subtle shine for your hair? The knitted hair tie by Tina Baumgartner convinces not only with shine, but also with greenness. As the yarn is made of 71% recycled polyester.

Materials

LANGYARNS LAMÉ (71% Polyester (Recycled), 29% Polyester) 25 g = 1 ball 38.0015.

LANGYARNS / ADDI double-pointed knitting needles, size 3.5mm (US 4).

Elastic 15 cm long

Pattern I

N Nr 3.5: stocking stitch = k all rounds.

Gauge

Pattern I, 3.5mm needles:
28 sts = 10 cm (4“) wide.
38 rows = 10 cm (4”) high.

Instructions

Cast on with 2 strand of the first colour: 24 sts. Close to work in the round. Knit in pattern I and change colours every 5 rounds. When the piece reaches a length of 36 cm cast off all sts.

Finishing

Insert the elastic and sew or knot the ends together. Sew the end of the tube together, using the Kitchener-Stitch.
