Wool is a natural fibre - and should therefore be washed rarely, if ever. It is enough to hang the knitted garment out in the fresh air for a few hours, preferably on a damp, foggy day, to remove any lingering smells and dust or other particles. If it really is necessary to give it a ‘proper‘ wash, be sure to follow the care instructions on the label.
We recommend machine washing everything that is not specifically declared as "hand wash".
