Light or Double Knit (DK) describes yarns with a running length of 240m - 300m per 100 g. DK yarns are knitted on 3.75mm - 4.5mm needles, resulting in a tension of 21 - 24 stitches to 10cm.
DK is the yarn weight that is most popular with our customers. You can knit most garments with DK yarns: hats, gloves, sweaters, tops and accessories.
