LAMBSWOOL

19.10.2023

Produced by our long-standing partners in Italy, our mulesing-free quality LAMBSWOOL is traceable right back to the farm of origin in Eastern Australia. The entire delivery chain of the yarn is certified RWS (Responsible Wool Standard). Furthermore, the dyeing process and all of the steps in the finishing of the yarn have Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Gold certification. Our high standards of quality guarantee that you will enjoy your knitted or crocheted piece for a long time before returning it to the biological cycle.

THE FARM
Congi Farm in eastern Australia has been owned by the Field family for over a century. Using the latest technology and sustainable, certified flock management, wool of exceptionally high quality is produced. Congi Farm is aware that fibre quality is a result of the way the sheep and the land are managed. For this reason, they have introduced the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS).

RWS
The entire production chain of the yarn is RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, which guarantees the welfare of the sheep, the sustainable management of the land and fair and safe working conditions from farm to finished product.

BOTTO GIUSEPPE
LAMBSWOOL is produced for us by our long-standing partner Botto Giuseppe in Italy. Botto Giuseppe e Figli Spa has been producing high quality yarns and fabrics since 1876. Through the years, they have kept all production operations based in Italy in a rare and unique example of vertical manufacturing. All washing, combing, spinning, dyeing, warping and finishing are done in their own factories.

CRADLE TO CRADLE
The dyeing process, as well as all further finishing steps, are „Cradle to Cradle gold“ certified, which means that the yarn is completely biodegradable at the end of its life cycle and leaves no harmful substances behind.
