For our 2026 Advent Knitalong, we’ve come up with a special treat: instead of one large pattern, this year you get four smaller ones – one for each Sunday in Advent. Tina Baumgartner of LifeOnYarn has designed four trendy mini shawls, inspired by the cities of Colmar, Salzburg, Verona and Heidelberg.
Starting November 29, you’ll find a new free pattern here every Sunday in Advent. Knit an elegant little shawl for yourself or as a gift, and get to know four different constructions along the way, as each shawl is made in a different way.
For every pattern, you can choose between a luxurious version in CASHMERE PREMIUM and CASHMERE DREAMS or a more affordable version in MERINO 200 combined with LACE or LACE LAMÉ. Two of the shawls also feature accents in LAMÉ SOFT.
